No New JCSDA Federal Funding Opportunity for Fiscal Year 2009

Due to the tight budget situation, the Joint Center Management Oversight Board and Executive have made the decision not to solicit new external research proposals this year. This does not amount to a cancellation of the external research program of the Joint Center, nor does it indicate any intent to do so. However, rather than soliciting new proposals at the possible expense of ongoing efforts, Joint Center management has decided to focus the resources on keeping all current projects fully funded. We expect to be able to issue an FFO for new starts in Fiscal Year 2010".
