GOES Soundings Colorized Imagery

These colorized product images are not produced in the same manner as the Sounder DPI product.  Rather, various parameters are derived from the GOES Soundings and output to a data file.  This data, in cloud free areas only, is then written in digital form over top of a satellite imagery.  This allows for color enhancement of the satellite image to yield a colorized GOES Sounder product.  Currently, an assortment of product images are created with areal coverage encompassing the Continental U.S. and some surrounding areas.
