These ASTER emissivity products are from the North American ASTER Land Surface Emissivity Database (NAALSED).

Summer data represent the mean emissivity of all ASTER scenes collected over North America during months July, August and September for the years 2000-2008.

Winter data represent the mean emissivity of all ASTER scenes collected over North America during months January, February and March for the years 2000-2008.
