PURPOSE OF EXPEDITION:

Exchange MOBY224 with MOBY225 and conduct in-water experiments for oligotrophic algorithm validation and development.

EXPEDITION SUMMARY:

MOBY225 was successfully deployed on 12 Nov.  On 13 Nov, MOBY224 was recovered after cross-over data collection between the two MOBYs was accomplished and the MOBY225 antifoulant tubes were installed as well.  Due to technical difficulties, Hawaiian Rafting Adventures personnel were unable to perform initial diver cals on MOBY225 during MOBY-L102.

Inclement weather interfered with conducting daily bio-optical data collection stations.  The Team, however, was able to collect bio-optical data sets coincident with some Aqua, Hyperion, SeaWiFS, and Terra overpasses.
