PURPOSE OF EXPEDITION:
 
 
  Collect Case 2 data in the Chesapeake Bay for algorithm development and refinement.
 
EXPEDITION SUMMARY:
 
  Inclement weather precluded the majority of the data collection operations.  Shipboard data were successfully collected on only four of the 12 scheduled ship days.  Dockside data were collected an additional two days after shipboard operations had been shut down.  Data sets collected include radiance and irradiance, instrument shadowing, CTD profiles, CDOM, particle size distribution, particulate/detrital absorption, pigments, TSM, and POC.
