Grants Information for Grantees
The Cooperative Research Program (CoRP) is the central point of
contact for processing most of the NESDIS Line Offices (LOs)
applications for financial assistance. Applications submitted for
funding must address one or more of the NOAA goals/programs.
CoRP manages 3 Cooperative Institutes (CIs), and provides funding
support to other NOAA CIs including the Cooperative Institute for
Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) (OAR-managed) and Cooperative Remote
Sensing Science and Technology Center (CREST), a cooperative research
partner. Research focus provides mutual benefits to all parties:
- Important NOAA University/Non-Profit Research Institutions
Partnership Program
- Focal point in facilitating and enhancing scientific research
between the federal government, various universities, and non-profit
research institutions
- Research collaborations of scientific research workers nationally
and internationally
