Submit an Abstract for a Fair Exhibit

Fair Abstract submission is now closed. Notification of abstract acceptance and further guidance to Fair exhibitors will be given by Friday, March 19.

Fair abstracts should target the primary modeling activities and projects at NOAA Laboratories, Centers, Programs, and community partners. Abstracts should be broader than projects by individuals, and should highlight how the activities and projects leverage and manage broader modeling community contributions.

In the spirit of Unified Modeling, the Fair exhibits can represent disciplines across the NOAA modeling enterprise, including the Unified Forecast System, atmospheric weather and composition, ocean, land, cryosphere, ecosystem, and socio-economic models and relevant subsystems and components. The technical capabilities and ongoing R&D efforts should be presented in the context of community modeling; including best practices for community engagement, collaboration, software development, infrastructure, and R2O, and illustrate how community contributions have led to impactful products and services.

Accepted abstracts/fair exhibitors will be notified by March 19, 2021.
