Note: Only SAR derived wind speeds obtained over water are valid measurements.
The wind speed returns over lake ice are invalid for wind.
Lake ice is most clearly observed in the NRCS imagery. Some images with multiple scenes may contain erroneous processing artifacts. This is a known issue and will be improved in the near future. (May 2022)
