MOBY Nov 2017 Reprocessing (Rev Dec 21, 2017)

This document describes how the older MOBY deployments, M203-48, were reprocessed in Nov 2017 when these modifications were implemented. 

In Nov 2017 a reprocessing of the MOBY data from M203-M248 was done.  This was done to 1) provide a uniform stray light correction (SLC) to the entire data set.  M249 onward already was processed with this SLC, so was not changed; 2) Deployments M206, M208 and M210 had spectral data for wavelengths less than 380 nm removed because these deployments used a different type of fiber which caused problems for the SLC at wavelengths below 380 nm.

MOBY system response status: SLC ver#, thermal cor applied, deployment calibration status and lamp calibration status

BOL = Beginning of Life Lamp calibration done

EOL = End of Life Lamp calibration done

Lamp Pre/Post = BOL/BOL means both pre and post calibration lamp have only the Beginning of Life Lamp calibration done, EOL/BOL means the precals have the End of Life Lamp calibration done, etc. N/A means that calibration, pre or post, does not exist and so there is no lamp calibration to keep track of

Pre = Pre-deployment system responses applied

Post = Post-deployment system responses applied

Mean = Pre and Post-deployment system responses averaged and applied
