Acceptable Forms of ID for Visitors to NCWCPAfter 21 July 2014, NCWCP Building Security Staff will not accept driver's licenses from any state that is not compliant with the REAL ID Act of 2005 (P.L. 109-13). These are the 6 states or territories whose driver's licenses are currently not compliant with the REAL ID Act:

Congress passed REAL ID to enact the 9/11 Commission's recommendation that the Federal Government "set standards for the issuance of sources of identification, such as driver's licenses." It establishes minimum standards for issuance and production of driver's licenses and prohibits Federal agencies from accepting for certain purposes licenses from states not meeting the Act's minimum standards. What does this mean for visitors to NCWCP?After July 21st 2014, non-compliant state driver's licenses will not be accepted as identification to enter the NCWCP.
