February 12, 2024 - The JPSS Program review on 25 January 2024 found that Polar Winds, Ice Thickness/Age, and Snow Cover products supported by STAR and CIMSS colleagues exceeded the requirements for Provisional Maturity stage and are now declared Validated Maturity, ready for operational use.
